California Diet

Calofornia Diet is a diet which is followed by many celebrities from Hollywood.

Among people follwing this diet I know, most of them lost about 2-5 kg after the 5th day of dieting. 

You may have 1-3 five-day cycles in a row. The followers promise that after the 15th day of diet you will lose 15kg.

Maximal duration of california diet - 15 days.

RATION

So, if you have chosen this diet to grow thin lay in supplies for first five days. You don`t need a lot. 

So, the products this diet contains are:

10 oranges, 1 litre of kefir/yoghurt, 1 pickled cucumber, 250g of the frozen vegetables (to boil), 120g of boiled meat, 125g non-fat curd, 200g of ham, 1 apple, 3 pieces of boiled sausage, 8 tomatoes of medium size, 6 eggs and 21 slices of dry toasts.

Breakfast: Every day your breakfast is the same - 1 orange, 2 dry toasts and 1 cup of coffee/tea without sugar (or with sweetener).



1st Day

Dinner: 1 orange, 1 egg, 1 glass of kefir/yoghurt, 2 dry toasts and 1 cup of coffee/tea without sugar.
Supper: 2 tomatoes, ½ heads of leaf lettuce, 2 eggs, ½ glass of kefir/yoghurt and 2 dry toasts.


2nd Day

Dinner: 1 orange, 1 egg, 1 glass of kefir/yoghurt and 2 dry toasts.
Supper: 60g of boiled meat, 1 tomato, 1 toast, 1 orange, ½ glass of kefir/yoghurt and 1 cup of coffee/tea without sugar.


3rd   Day

Dinner: 1 orange, 1 egg, 1 glass of kefir/yoghurt and 1 head of leaf lettuce.
Supper: 3 pieces of boiled sausage, 1 orange, 1 toast, ½ glass of kefir/yoghurt and 1 cup of coffee/tea without sugar.


4th Day

Dinner: 125g of curd, 1 tomato, 1 pickled cucumber and 1 toast.
Supper: 60g of boiled meat, 2 tomatoes, 1 apple and 1 toast.

5th Day

Dinner: 200g of ham, 1 tomato and 1 toast.
Supper: 250g of boiled vegetables, 1 egg and 1 tomato.


Remember: Not to gain weight again observe the following diet every Monday

Breakfast: 1 glass of water with lemon.
Dinner: 1 apple and 1 dry toast.
Supper: 1 egg, 1 tomato and 1 dry toast.


PROS AND CONS

Lets start with minuses:
- this diet is almost salt-free. Consequently, you lose water instead of fat which will easily ccome back after finishing your dieting.
- 15 days is a very long term which can cause derangements in future. Thus you can lose control and start eating everything you have in your fridge.
- a large amount of eggs can increase the level of  cholesterol and cause the appearance of cholesterol “plaques” on the walls of your vessels.

Pluses:
- usually a person needs no less than 2 weeks to form a habit . Thus if you have 3 5-day-cycles, possibly, you will get used to eating  in small amounts.
- during these 15 days of dieting your stomach will diminish and after stopping the diet you will need less food to make you feel full.
