How to Cure Diastasis Recti. The Diet to Cure the Diastasis Recti.

Diastasis recti - is the problem when the distance between the two sections of the rectus abdominis muscle is increased. This phenomenon can occur after pregnancy, after very quick weight loss or after quick gaining weight. The diastasis recti can also appear after significant physical exertion, prolonged coughing or regular constipation.

A big percent of women suffer from diastasis recti  and most of them even don`t know that they have this problem.  The question is How to cure from diastasis recti  and what diet should we follow to cure diastasis recti.

First of all, you should consult a doctor.

There different exercises to improve the situation.  But what I am going to emphasis here is what exercises are strictly forbidden if you have diastasis recti and what diet you should follow to make the diastasis recti less.

Exercises that are forbidden if you suffer from diastasis.

Don`t rise your body from the supine position with bent legs,
Don`t twist your body,
Don`t rise the legs from the supine position,
Don`t perform push ups on straight legs,
Don`t make exercises to strength your back (eg, deadlift).

The diet if you have diastasis recti

It is strongly recommended to follow the diet if you have the diastasis recti. A balanced diet will not only support the muscular system in a good shape, but it will also help you to get rid of the excess body fat, especially in the abdominal area. First of all, pay attention to the proteins - they must be at least 30% of the total food consumed. For a good digestion you should also consume enough dietary fiber  - vegetables, fruits, crops.

And finally. If you are hezitating whether you have a diastasis recti or no, it is better to consult a doctor. And have the trainings only with a qualified personal trainer. Do not try to solve the problem by yourself.
